Ch-Ch-Ch-Chia!

Ok, this is one of those food items that make me overthink. What are these things and how do you use them??

Tip from Laurie: Don't just eat a spoon full!

It's super gross! 😂

So first off, they are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, calcium magnesium and manganese. These little guys are very high in protein which will help reduce your hunger and regulate your appetite. I talked to Dr. Jain and asked him how to incorporate this in the diet. He explained that this would be considered a fat. In the diet we have 2 daily servings of fat. 2 tsp of chia seeds will be one serving. While this is considered a good fat, but you will still need to be careful and use this sparingly.
