Salmon....The Fatty Fish!

  4. You can flavor it up in an endless number of ways!

If not for my husband.... I would probably live life as a pescatarian. But alas, I am unable to live that kind of life but that doesn't mean I do not incorporate salmon into our meals as often as possible!! At first, I would only bake fish with minimal seasoning due to the fact.... I had no clue how to prepare it. Now, I have so much fun with fish! You can bake in foil, you can sear it, prepare it spicy, sweet, fruity, or covered in herbs!

Salmon is heart-healthy with omega-3 fatty acids, high amounts of B vitamins, selenium, and potassium! Salmon will fall into the protein section, and remember we have 8 servings of protein in the Medislim diet. 1 ounce of salmon = 1 serving!

Our favorite salmon recipe we have currently in our household is a Baked Lemon and Herb Salmon with a Lemon Dill Sauce. The recipe is included!
